Nathan Whalen represents Marcus & Millichap in the exclusive sale of investment single-tenant net-leased and multi-tenant retail properties throughout the United States. Since joining Marcus & Millichap in June of 2005, he has been involved in hundreds of transactions totaling over $750 Million dollars in sales. Nathan is a founding member of The Whalen Johnson Team based in Indianapolis. He is a Senior Vice President of Investments at Marcus & Millichap, a Senior Director in the firm's National Retail Group, and a Senior Director in the firm's Net Leased Properties Group. He is a member of the International Counsel of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has donated his time to many philanthropic organizations including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Riley Children's Hospital, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Gleaners Food Bank, and Westfield Youth Sports. Nathan is a proud graduate of Indiana University. He resides in Westfield, IN with his wife, Kelly, and their four children Mckayla, Lincoln, Declan, and Reagan. In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time with friends and family, coaching and watching his kids' sporting events, traveling, working out, and playing golf.
